If God had said to me “I want you to write a book,” I would be looking around to see whom He was talking to.  Feeling like insecure Moses, I would have said; “Do what?  You have great authors out there.  You don’t need me.  I’m not author material.  Please send someone else.” That would have been the end of that conversation!

However, being the all-knowing God that He is, He just prompted me to write short articles on things I’ve been learning that could help others. After I had shared these articles over time, a friend said to me, “You know, these articles are very helpful. I think you should consider putting them in a book.” At that point, it didn’t sound so intimidating.  I took that suggestion seriously, and that led to the birth of my first book: "Get On Board and Stay On Board" (be a Christian and remain a Christian). It contains articles on salvation and articles on the Christian walk. So God got me to write a book without asking me to write a book. I have since then published several books with one translated into Spanish. I've completed my first children's book and there is more to come. Please stay in tune.    

Prior to writing, I was a Registered Nurse who came to the United States in the 70s from Ghana, West Africa. I have lived in Maryland for over 40 years and volunteer as a Counselor at a local Crisis Pregnancy Clinic. I have three children, a son-in-law, and four grandchildren. I love to write poetry and short articles based on Scripture. I have also authored four other books: "The Last Train at Sunset", "Time is Running Out", Living for Jesus Until He Returns", "Prepare to Meet Your Maker". The books contain messages about salvation and the Christian walk.

My life's purpose is to be obedient to God, love the Church, and love the unbeliever!  

I stress the importance of the unbeliever coming to faith in Jesus, because Jesus is the only way to God. Jesus died for our sins; He rose again, so that all who believe in Him will live with Him after this life in heaven forever. This decision has to be made urgently, because nobody is promised tomorrow, and once this life is over, it is too late. Time is running out! Prepare to meet your Maker!

I also stress the need for Christians to be careful about how they live. We need to live in obedience to the Word of God until He returns. My prayer is that all Christians will be people with Beautiful Feet, bringing the good news of salvation to all who would listen.
